At OVA, we understand that life can be unpredictable, and plans may change. To ensure transparency and fairness while maintaining the integrity of our retreat experience, we have outlined our refund and cancellation policy. Please read it carefully before making a booking.

1. Non-Refundable Deposit

To secure your spot in the retreat, a non-refundable deposit of ₹20,000 is required. This deposit is essential to reserve your place, and it is non-refundable under all circumstances.

2. Refund Conditions

In the event that you need to cancel your booking, refunds will be issued according to the following schedule, with the non-refundable deposit deducted from the total amount paid:

• More than 45 days before the retreat start date:
  You are eligible for a 70% refund of the remaining amount (excluding the ₹20,000 non-refundable deposit).

• Between 30 to 45 days before the retreat start date:
  You are eligible for a 50% refund of the remaining amount (excluding the ₹20,000 non-refundable deposit).

• Less than 30 days before the retreat start date:
  No refund will be issued. If you cancel within this window, the full retreat fee will be forfeited.

 

3. Transfer of Ticket

If you are unable to attend the retreat and would like to transfer your spot to someone else, the following conditions apply:

• You may transfer your ticket to another participant at an administrative fee of ₹5,000.

• Ticket transfers to future retreats are not permitted, as each retreat has its own pricing structure and logistical arrangements.

Please ensure that any transfer request is made at least 10 days prior to the retreat start date. The new participant must meet all the necessary requirements and agree to our terms and conditions.

 

4. Cancellation by OVA

In the rare case that OVA is forced to cancel the retreat due to unforeseen circumstances, we will refund all payments made by the participant, including the non-refundable deposit. We will notify all participants as soon as possible if the retreat must be canceled.

 

5. Refund Processing Time

Refunds will be processed within 15 working days from the date of cancellation. The refunded amount will be credited to the same payment method used at the time of booking, excluding the non-refundable deposit.

 

6. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect yourself against unforeseen circumstances, such as travel disruptions, medical emergencies, or personal situations that may prevent you from attending the retreat. This will ensure that your travel costs and retreat fees are covered in case of unexpected cancellations or interruptions.

 

7. Important Notes

• In the case of a partial refund (due to cancellation), the non-refundable deposit of ₹20,000 will be deducted first, and the remaining amount will be calculated based on the timelines above.

• If you cancel after the retreat has already begun, no refund will be issued, and you will be responsible for all retreat fees.

• No exceptions to this policy will be made under any circumstances, as it is designed to ensure fairness for all participants.
